This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of fish meal replacement by superworm larvae meal (Zophobas morio) on growth performance and carcass chemical compositionof juvenile stellate sturgeon (Acipenser stellatus). To do this, 120 juvenile stellate sturgeon (initial body weight 28.08±0.13g) were distributed in four treatments each with three replicates. The experimental treatments included the control (SWM0), 10 (SWM10), 20 (SWM20) and 30 (SWM30) percent replacement of superworm larvae meal substituted with fish meal. Fish were fed according to apparent satiation three times daily for 8 weeks. At the end of the experiment, the mean of the final weight, Weight gain and Body weight increase of the fish fed diets with control and diet containing 10% superworm larvae meal was significantly higher than other treatments (p<0.05). The lowest feed conversion ratio was observed in control which had a significant difference compared to SWM30 (p<0.05). Protein, fat, moisture and carcass ash were significantly affected by different levels of superworm larvae meal (p<0.05). The protein showed the highest amount in the control treatment and showed a significant difference with the 20 and 30% treatments. But with 10% treatment, there was no significant difference (p>0.05). Also, the moisture was the highest in the control treatment and showed a substantial difference with the 10, 20 and 30 percent treatments (p<0.05). Ash also showed the highest amount in the control treatment and showed a significant difference with the 30 treatment (p<0.05), But there was no significant difference with 10 and 20% treatments (p>0.05). While the amount of fat increased significantly with the increase of superworm larva meal in the diet (p<0.05). The fat showed the highest amount in the 30% treatment and showed a significant difference with the control and 10% treatments (p<0.05), But with 20% treatment, there was no significant difference (p>0.05). The results of this study showed that Superworm larvae meal can be substituted for fish meal up to 10% in the diet of juvenile stellate sturgeon without having a negative effect on the growth performance and chemical composition of the body.
